Establishing the business in 2004, Kevin has built up a great team behind Park Gate, ensuring client satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. Kevin delivers first class mortgage advice, finding solutions to the most challenging scenarios. His knowledge and expertise ensures long term relationships with clients and many client referrals. Kevin holds ‘Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Mortgage advice’ which goes beyond the current FCA’s qualification requirements. Any spare time is spent with friends and family and runs for fitness.
Vanessa Hobbs
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Having worked in Financial Services since leaving university Vanessa has over 18 years’ experience and knowledge of the industry. Vanessa started her career as a highly successful and well-respected Business Development Manager for a market leading investment house. We were lucky to have Vanessa join Parkgate in 2013 and has since exhibited daily the ability to maintain long term relationships with both new and existing clients. She ensures all her clients are given the individual attention they deserve and, whatever their circumstances, these are listened too and understood. She demonstrates this by bespoke mortgage and protection advice, consistent referral business and first-class customer satisfaction. In her free time Vanessa is happiest spending time with her husband and children and she loves long walks with her mum and sister.
Karen Prior
Office Manager
Karen joined the firm in 2013 initially to support Kevin, As a previous adviser and underwriter Karen is able to use these skills to complement the advisers in their role. Karen has a young family and is a keen baker.
Laura Blake
Protection Specialist
Laura is a Protection Specialist who joined Park Gate in 2014 having previously worked for a High Street Bank for 24 years. Laura’s knowledge and experience allows her to advise clients on all areas of protection to cover their mortgage, family and themselves. Finding tailored solutions, while retaining a personal & professional approach, ensures lasting relationships with her clients. In her free time Laura loves spending quality time with close friends and her 2 teenage daughters. You may also spot her at the local park run on a Saturday!
Jan Sherwood
Administrator
Jan has been with park gate since 2016 bringing with her many years of administration skills and tasked with running the back office system. She enjoys cooking, gardening, long walks and spending time with family and friends.
